Sarah and her Liberal Democrat colleagues in Europe celebrate the first plenary session held in Brussels

'Celebrating with Liberal Democrat colleagues the first ever European Parliament plenary session to be held in Brussels, Sarah said: 'The collapse of part of the ceiling of the plenary chamber of the European Parliament in Strasbourg is a serious matter. But nonetheless, it is an ill wind......and the opportunity for MEPs to avoid the expensive, wasteful and CO2-emitting monthly travelling circus to Strasbourg is worth marking. Hopefully this will help in our reform campaign to make Brussels where we have committee meetings our one and only permanent seat
